Welcome to Romania's capital, Bucharest! An incredible city filled with history, artwork, delicious food, and lovely people. Today, we are going to begin near Revolution Square to learn about Bucharest's important political history and its influence on the rest of the country and even the rest of the world. We will then make our way to Old Town to walk bustling streets and try some traditional Romanian food. Lastly, we will find ourselves at Spirea's Hill to take witness of the second largest administrative building in the world - the Palace of Parliament. To get started, make your way to the Velib Metropole bike sharing station on the southern edge of the Place de la Bastille just off the Boulevard Bordon. It should be easy to find because it's a short walk from the metro and close by the public toilets. How convenient! I'll see you there in a flush to begin our ride.
