This tour will lead you on a trek through the heart of New Orleans’ most exclusive enclave – an upscale neighborhood known for its old world charm, opulent mansions, and engrossing history filled with one-of-a-kind characters found only in the Big Easy. On our walk together, you’ll stroll past spreading oak trees and along shaded lanes, explore quirky homes with outlandish stories, and encounter a cemetery which inspired one of the greatest horror trilogies in American literary history. Along the way you’ll see a spot where secret voodoo rituals were performed, hear the poetry of Walt Whitman, and visit a house named for the most famous pair of brothers in NFL history.
