ここで左に曲がり、道に従ってください。いくつかの橋の下を歩きます。橋について聞きたいですか？ 最初の橋は、アーランドD.ウィリアムズジュニア橋と呼ばれます。1982年に起きたエアフロリダフライト90の悲惨な話のヒーローにちなんで名付けられました。彼が乗客として乗っていた飛行機は橋にぶつかり、凍ったポトマック川に墜落しました。アーランドウィリアムズは、飛行機から5人の生存者を救出しましたが彼自身は救われる前に溺れてしまったのです。彼は偉大なヒーローでした。 次の橋は、バージニア州上院議員にちなんで名付けられたチャールズ・R・フェンウィック橋です。この橋は、黄色の地下鉄線が川を横断するためのものです。 3番目の橋はロングブリッジと呼ばれます。 1809年には木製の有料橋でした。1812年にイギリス軍がロングブリッジの北端に発砲し、1814年にアメリカ軍が南端を燃やしました。そして1816年にすべてが再建されました。面白いですね。

How to take a UCPlaces tour
Taking a UCPlaces tour is fun and easy.

If you start the tour before reaching the first POI, the app will navigate you to the starting point and then begin the tour.
