Primero, el T-Mobile Park, hogar de los Seattle Mariners de la Major League Baseball. El estadio abrió en 1999 y es famoso por su enorme techo retráctil. Ahora mismo, gira a la derecha aquí, y ¡bienvenidos a uno de los barrios más históricos y culturalmente ricos de Seattle: el Distrito Internacional de Chinatown!

Esta zona se remonta a finales del siglo XIX, cuando inmigrantes de China, Japón, y luego de Filipinas y el Sudeste Asiático, empezaron a establecerse aquí. Construyeron negocios, centros comunitarios e instituciones culturales que ayudaron a forjar la identidad de Seattle.

Hoy, el barrio es oficialmente conocido como el Distrito Internacional de Chinatown, reflejando las diversas comunidades asiáticas que lo llaman hogar. Mientras conduces, notarás arquitectura tradicional, letreros bilingües y coloridas puertas que marcan las entradas a distintas partes del distrito.

Fíjate bien en la puerta estilo paifang, el arco tradicional chino ornamentado que da la bienvenida al barrio. Es uno de los puntos de referencia más fotografiados y simboliza la herencia china de larga tradición en la zona.

Este distrito también es famoso por su increíble escena gastronómica. En solo unas cuadras encontrarás algunos de los mejores dim sum, ramen, pho, dumplings y bubble tea de la ciudad; muchos son restaurantes familiares que llevan aquí generaciones.

Taking a UCPlaces tour is fun and easy.

Whenever you approach a point of interest (POI) on the tour, our app will automatically play the relevant audio story at the right time and place.
If you start the tour before reaching the first POI, the app will navigate you to the starting point and then begin the tour.

We have been working hard to deliver a great experience. Though you may run into unexpected obstacles (the world is constantly changing), our app has multiple features and mechanisms in place to help you overcome them, including: AI assistance, force play an audio if you can't reach the stop, skip or return to stops, automatic rerouting and more.
