Yocco’s Hotdogs
On your left you’ll see the Lehigh Valley’s famous Yocco’s. The story goes that in 1922, Theodore Iacocca, uncle of Lehigh Valley native, Lee Iaccoca, otherwise known as “The Father of the Mustang”, opened a small convenience store called “Liberty Grille” in downtown Allentown. One day a beautiful woman came in and asked if Iacocca sold hotdogs. When he said no, she replied “that's too bad” with a wink and left. The next day Iacocca bought a grille and hotdogs and the rest was history.

Since then, Yocco’s has been an Allentown tradition, you really haven’t been here until you get a classic Yocco Hot dog.
