Centro Constitucional: Cuna de la nación
Van por la Calle 6 y, justo a su izquierda, se encuentra el Independence Mall, esa zona histórica donde, en 1787, se debatió y firmó la Constitución en el cercano Independence Hall.

Este edificio es mucho más reciente —abrió en 2003—, pero está ubicado aquí de manera intencional, justo al lado de donde se sentaron las bases del país. La Constitución fue moldeada por líderes como James Madison, George Washington y el propio Benjamin Franklin, originario de Filadelfia.

Piensen en este lugar como el complemento moderno de esos sitios históricos. Mientras que Independence Hall es donde ocurrieron los hechos, aquí es donde la historia se interpreta, se debate y cobra vida en el presente.

Justo a su izquierda se encuentra la Liberty Bell.

En realidad no podrán verla desde la carretera —se encuentra dentro de un pabellón moderno de cristal—, pero este es el lugar.

La campana fue fundida originalmente en 1752 para el edificio que hoy conocemos como Independence Hall, y con el tiempo se convirtió en un poderoso símbolo de libertad e independencia. Su famosa grieta no hizo más que reforzar ese significado, especialmente cuando los abolicionistas del siglo XIX la adoptaron como emblema en la lucha contra la esclavitud.

Así que, aunque aquí permanezca algo oculta, están pasando justo al lado de uno de los íconos más importantes de la historia de Estados Unidos.

Whenever you approach a point of interest (POI) on the tour, our app will automatically play the relevant audio story at the right time and place.
If you start the tour before reaching the first POI, the app will navigate you to the starting point and then begin the tour.

The app is your tour-guide, it needs to know where you are located on the map to be able to trigger the points of interest. It also needs access to audio and media files to provide you with this experience.
+ What happens if there are unexpected roadblocks or navigation issues?
We have been working hard to deliver a great experience. Though you may run into unexpected obstacles (the world is constantly changing), our app has multiple features and mechanisms in place to help you overcome them, including: AI assistance, force play an audio if you can't reach the stop, skip or return to stops, automatic rerouting and more.

Though all of our tours are primarily in English, many tours are muyltilingual (including: Spanish, German, Portuguese, French, Japanese, Hebrew, French, Arabic and more...).
