En commençant notre promenade à travers la ville riche en histoire d'Athènes, nous sommes ici à la place Thissieos ! Techniquement, elle fait partie de la zone plus large de Plaka, et elle est connue pour son atmosphère animée et son architecture grecque traditionnelle. Non seulement il y a des ruines anciennes à proximité, comme le temple d'Héphaïstos, mais la place est également bordée de cafés, de restaurants et de boutiques où vous pouvez vous immerger dans la culture grecque.

Nous allons marcher le long d'une longue rangée de ces nombreux commerces, et j'espère que vous choisirez de vous arrêter pour prendre une collation avant de commencer notre voyage ! Je vous recommande vivement d'attendre dans la file d'attente à l'un de ces stands de nourriture de rue et de vous procurer soit - ou les deux ! - un souvlaki ou des loukoumades. Les souvlakis sont de petits morceaux de viande grillée ou en brochette dans du pain pita avec de la sauce tzatziki, et les loukoumades sont des boules de pâte frites trempées dans du miel. Une option salée et une option sucrée !

Taking a UCPlaces tour is fun and easy.
