אולד נורת': אחד מהיבשה, שניים מהים
ממש לפנינו נמצאת כנסיית אולד נורת', או בשמה הרשמי – כנסיית קרייסט בבוסטון. היא נבנתה ב-1723, מה שהופך אותה לכנסייה הכי עתיקה שעדיין עומדת בעיר, ולאחד הסמלים הכי מזוהים עם המהפכה האמריקאית.

בלילה של ה-18 באפריל, 1775, תלו כאן שני פנסים על ראש הצריח. זה היה הסימן שהחיילים הבריטים מתקדמים לכיוון לקסינגטון וקונקורד דרך הים. הסימן הזה – "אחד מהיבשה, שניים מהים" – נתן את האות למסע הלילי המפורסם של פול ריביר, שהזהיר את המתיישבים שה"מעילים האדומים" בדרך.

If you start the tour before reaching the first POI, the app will navigate you to the starting point and then begin the tour.
