השוק ובניין ויי: מתקרבים לכיכר ויקטוריה
ממש תכף משמאלכם תראו את השוק המרכזי של אדלייד, אחד משווקי התוצרת הטרייה הגדולים והוותיקים ביותר באוסטרליה שפועלים ברציפות עד היום.

השוק מתחיל את דרכו עוד בשנת 1869, כשחקלאים מקומיים התחילו למכור כאן פירות וירקות מתוך עגלות. היום, מדובר במוסד אמיתי באדלייד, שמלא בתוצרת טרייה, גבינות, בשרים, מאפים ואוכל מכל העולם. אם יהיה לכם זמן בהמשך, שווה לגמרי לחזור לכאן – ועדיף שתגיעו רעבים.

ממש מעבר לשוק, גם כן משמאלכם, נמצא בניין סר סמואל ויי המרשים. באופן מפתיע, הוא בכלל לא נבנה כבית משפט. הוא נפתח ב-1916 כחנות הכלבו של מור, שהייתה פעם אחד ממוקדי הקניות הראשיים של אדלייד. בהמשך הוא הוסב לשימוש בתי המשפט של דרום אוסטרליה, ונקרא על שמו של סר סמואל ויי, שכיהן כנשיא בית המשפט העליון של המדינה במשך כמעט 40 שנה.

וממש מעבר לבניין, אנחנו מגיעים ממש לפינה של כיכר ויקטוריה. כרגע תקבלו רק הצצה חטופה – אנחנו נחזור לכאן בקרוב כדי להעיף מבט הרבה יותר טוב על הלב של אדלייד.

ציורי קיר בצ'נסרי ליין: אמנות וטכנולוגיה
כשאנחנו עוברים את צ'נסרי ליין, חפשו את ציורי הקיר הענקיים בסגול ולבן שמכסים את הקירות לצד הכביש.

יצירות האמנות המרשימות האלה נוצרו יחד עם תלמידים מקולג' סנט אלויסיוס הסמוך, כשכל ציור מייצג נושא אחר — צמיחה, השראה, חברות, ותחומי ה-STEM: מדע, טכנולוגיה, הנדסה ומתמטיקה.

ויש כאן הרבה יותר ממה שנראה לעין. הציורים האלה עוצבו כציורי קיר של מציאות רבודה. בעזרת הסמארטפון, המבקרים יכולים לכוון את המצלמה ליצירה ולראות אותה מתעוררת לחיים עם תוכן דיגיטלי שמסביר על האנשים והרעיונות שמאחורי התמונות.

הפרויקט נוצר ב-2019, ובהמשך זכה בפרס חביב הקהל של העיר אדלייד בשנת 2020.

If you start the tour before reaching the first POI, the app will navigate you to the starting point and then begin the tour.

Though all of our tours are primarily in English, many tours are muyltilingual (including: Spanish, German, Portuguese, French, Japanese, Hebrew, French, Arabic and more...).
