Sociedad Histórica Oregón: Su historia revelada.
A tu derecha está la Sociedad Histórica de Oregón, la guardiana de las historias del estado desde finales del siglo XIX. Piensen en ella como el ático de Oregón, ¡pero mucho más organizado! Dentro, encontrarán de todo: desde carretas de pioneros y artefactos nativos americanos, hasta fotografías históricas y reliquias curiosas que moldearon la vida en el noroeste del Pacífico.

La atracción estrella es la exposición “Experience Oregon”, donde pueden caminar por una carreta cubierta, subirse a una canoa, o perderse en gigantescas pantallas panorámicas que dan vida a los paisajes y culturas del estado. Es interactiva, inmersiva y una excelente manera de ver lo lejos que ha llegado Oregón.

El edificio en sí está justo en medio de los South Park Blocks de Portland, frente al Museo de Arte de Portland, así que encaja perfectamente con el corazón cultural de la ciudad. Si tienen tiempo, entren y den una vuelta por las exposiciones; saldrán con una apreciación completamente nueva por los pioneros, soñadores e innovadores que construyeron este lugar.
