Rossio Square
Rossio Square, officially known as Praça do Rossio, is one of the main squares in Lisbon. We are currently in the heart of the city and the Rossio Square features a central fountain and cobblestone pavement, providing a charming atmosphere. It has been a bustling hub since medieval times. Over the centuries, the square has witnessed important events, including festivals, bullfights, and public executions. It has served as a venue for social gatherings, political demonstrations, and cultural celebrations. The square's connection to the city's past and its continued relevance make it a symbol of Lisbon's heritage. The statue in the middle of square is of King Dom Pedro IV of Portugal. It serves as a symbol of his reign and the struggles for independence that occurred in Portugal and Brazil. The square is surrounded by beautiful buildings, including the iconic Dona Maria II National Theatre. The theater was built in 1846 andholds great significance in Portugal's artistic and theatrical heritage.

Satna Justa Lift
The Santa Justa Lift, or Elevador de Santa Justa, is an iconic landmark in Lisbon that connects the lower streets of Baixa with the higher district of Carmo. Designed by engineer Raoul Mesnier du Ponsard and inaugurated in 1902, this vertical elevator is a remarkable feat of engineering and architectural beauty. The lift is an impressive iron structure adorned with intricate neo-Gothic details, reminiscent of the famous Eiffel Tower in Paris, as it was constructed by the same company.
