Welcome to one of Texas’ most prized locations, the lovely Lake Conroe! First developed here on the Western Fork of the San Jacinto River in the 1970s as an alternate water source for the City of Houston, the lake's stunning beauty has lent Lake Conroe its reputation today as a popular hub of lake life splendor. With 5,000 of its over 22,000 acres of surface water within the Sam Houston National Forest, the natural beauty of Texas is ever present on Lake Conroe! At an average depth of 20 feet, and 157 miles of shoreline, there is ample lakefront space for potential residents and guests of all kinds to have their wants and needs satisfied! Speaking of satisfying your wants and needs, let me introduce you to Jamie Bechtold, and his group of real estate guides who will help you the rest of the way! After retiring early from a position with a Fortune 500 company, Jamie Bechtold decided to combine his Doctorate of Business Administration with his passion for real estate and helping folks through this exciting time in their lives. Priding himself on prompt follow-ups and constant availability, Jamie and his group are very invested in their clients, and genuinely want what’s best for you! Having the right real estate agent is essential to finding the right home, and a good one can make all the difference in the world. Once this tour is over, they’ll be the perfect people to contact! Welcome to this UCPlaces Bar Crawl of Old Town Alexandria. My name is Shelly and I’ll be taking you on this tour on behalf of our local expert Batel Yona. Now a little about Batel. Batel Yona was born and raised here in Northern Virginia, and is an alumnus of George Mason University. Batel has an extensive track record of going above and beyond for her clients, specializing in customer service, and customizing the home buying and selling process for everyone she works with. As a Northern Virginia native, her favorite thing about the DMV is the environmental versatility- from the national and public parks, like Burke Lake Park and Great Falls, to DC’s plethora of national landmarks and Smithsonian museums. You’ll always have something to do in the DMV, so if you’re interested in putting down roots in the DC metro area, be sure to reach out to Batel Yona for all your real estate needs! Now a little about Old Town Alexandria! Like the name suggests, Old Town is Alexandria’s famous and beloved historic district. Hello there and welcome to this UCPlaces Where to Live Tour of Atlanta, Georgia. My name is Shelly and I’ll be showing you around this amazing city. In case you weren’t aware, Atlanta is the capital of Georgia and has the 10th largest economy in the United States. Atlanta’s diverse economy includes aerospace, logistics, medical services, information technology, film and television production, media operations and much much more. Originally it was founded as the end of a major railroad, but now it is actually a junction among multiple railroads, propelling major growth. Don’t be mistaken though - Atlanta is nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and has rolling hills and dense urban tree coverage. It’s not just concrete and high rises. Well, should we go check some of it out? Ok, let’s get going. Our first site is Martin Luther King Junior Park. There’s lots to see there. Please meet me at the corner of Howell Street North East and Auburn Avenue North East.
