Welcome to the incredible city of Tokyo! I am so glad you decided to join me today. We are going to make our way through some of the oldest and most historical sites in the city, but we will slowly make our way to more modern additions. It will be a nice walk through history, almost like a time machine! We will begin in the town of Asakua, known for its traditional Japanese architecture, temples, and shrines. Our halfway point is perfectly marked as we cross the Sumida River, to reach the town that surrounds the Tokyo Skytree, a more modern section of the city. I will make sure to point out as many sites as possible, as there truly are so many amazing places to learn about. I want to add that as we are ending at the Tokyo Skytree so I highly recommend searching for tickets online prior to our arrival so you can tour the tower once you and I have completed our own! So what do you say? Let's get this show on the road!
